Airport Touch for Nokia 5800, N97 and 5530Posted by: Phat^Trance in Nokia, Nokia Apps (S60v5), UncategorizedOur forum user thierrz has posted a video preview of a game called Airport Touch (by Offscreen). The Airport Touch is about guiding big airplanes to one landing strip and small planes to the other one without colliding with each other. This game works on Nokia s60v5 phones such as the Nokia 5800, N97 and the 5530. The price for this app is 2 Euro and you can buy it from OVI Store. This game actually reminds me a lot of the iPhone game “Harbour master” dont you think? Just wanted to let you guys know that the comments are back on the blog. I disabled the comments for a few months ago since we installed the wordpress to forum plugin, but since we moved the forum and the blog from the same server to two different server, the plugin doesnt work anymore (supports only one server). I also added a small feature to the blog comments were you guys can subscribe to the blog post that you comment. This means that when someone will reply to the blog post that you subscribed to, you’ll receive a email about the new comment. The subscription is completely manageable so you can unsubscribe anytime you want Thanks once again to the guys at clustered for the dedicated servers and helping me with the blog and server configs

Forum server has been moved – New URLPosted by: Phat^Trance in Off Topic, UncategorizedThe forum has been moved to the new server now. The new URL is http://forum.dailymobile.se so update your bookmarks now!! so what do you think? Is the blog and forum faster than before? you can leave a reply here
Great news! Since the Daily Mobile forum is growing so much every month its time to move the forum to another server dedicated for the forum only. We are testing the new setup for the server now and will move the forum as soon as the test and configuration has been made. During the move, the forum will be down for a while. Note that the blog will be online during the forum move.
Daily Mobile is growing more and more for every day and with more visitors comes more spam. For every post that i have published the last year ill get more than 15 pinkbacks from sites that duplicates the post content (example: original post - spam post). This problem is very common and every webmasters knows how hard it is to get rid of these sites. The spider / bots gets the info from the blogs RSS feeds. Therefore i have decided to change how our RSS feeds will be published from now one and unfortunately many of you will not like this idea, but its the only way to prevent the spam spiders copy the posts. From now on the RSS feed will contain only a short part of the post and it will more be like a “pingback” to our RSS readers that a new post has been published, and to read the post you have to visit the site (The direct link to the article will be included in the feed). This will also affect the blogs mobile edition since it also use the RSS feed to display the content. Thankfully there are a few plugins that will redirect the mobile users to a mobile version of the site. I just need to check out which of them i should use. Once again, im sorry that this had to happen but its the only way :/
