Sony Ericsson finnally announced today the Xperia Play at MWC 2011. Sony Ericsson XPERIA Play has a high-end specs with the use of Qualcomm’s second generation MSM8655 1GHz Snapdragon chip. The phone will be equipped with 512MB of RAM and 1GB of ROM on board as well as a landscape sliding PlayStation controller. A microSD slot will replace the use of a Memory Stick slot and the screen is expected to range from 3.7 to 4.1 inches. The Sony Ericsson PlayStation phone will introduce the Sony Marketplace where users can buy games made for the new Gingerbread OS.

After some minor delays me and Albin finally arrived here in Barcelona yesterday evening. A truly beautiful city with beautiful architecture which this week will be admired by some 50000 telecom people from all across the world. We didn’t get to see much of neither the buildings or the people though and only had time for a short dinner before it was time to get some sleep before this hectic day.

Here are two leaked photos of the yet unannounced Nokia E6-00. The Specs for the Nokia E6-00 will be 680MHZ ARM 11 processor, 2.6-inch screen (probably with VGA resolution), 8MP camera  and qwerty keyboard. The Nokia E6-00 will probably be announced at MWC.

Sony Ericsson Xperia ARC Photos – The Sony Ericsson Xperia arc is a bizzare-looking handset with a curved form (hence the Arc name) and dimensions of 4.92 x 2.48 x 0.34 (125 x 63 x 8.7 mm). It sports a 4.2-inch screen with a resolution of 480×854 and an 8-megapixel camera. Under the hood, the phone has a 1GHz Qualcomm processor, while Gingerbread is running the Arc show.
