Are you tired of getting the “certificate error” message when installing application on your Symbian phone? The reason is that the application that you are trying to install “haven’t” been approved by Symbian foundation. But most of us know that most of the good freeware application haven’t been “signed” so we need to sign them ourselves. There are two ways to install the “unsigned” applications. First is to hack your phone. That means that you need to fool the phones firmware (by editing it) so that it allows you to install the unsigned application.

According to the study conducted by Frost & Sullivan amongst European and Russian consumers, Nokia is the number one choice for mobile navigation over other leading handset manufacturers.
The primary aim of the study was to evaluate the perceptions, understanding, expectations and motivations of European and Russian consumers towards navigation and location-based services. The key objectives of the study were to analyse consumers’ awareness of, and level of satisfaction with different types of navigation systems (e.g. PND, mobile phones), the different features available (e.g. navigation, 3D imagery, voice guidance, touch screen), location-based services (e.g. car and pedestrian navigation, traffic information, social networking) and other telematics features. The study also aimed at evaluating consumers’ perceptions and willingness to pay for different types of navigation systems, their features and location-based services as well as determining consumers’ brand awareness and perception.
A new software update, v21.0.101 is available for the Nokia Xpressmusic! For now It seems that its only available for the product code: 0575407 (5800 Red – Hong Kong) but it shouldn’t take that long before its released to other regions. The current changelog is unknown.
With this application for the Nokia 5800 and N97 you can stop the default music player automatically after the time you want! Its good to have if you use your phone as a “radio” before you’ll get to sleep etc. Download the app from our forum
