Nokia today marked the next phase in the evolution of Maemo software with the new Nokia N900. Taking its cues from the world of desktop computing, the open source, Linux-based Maemo software delivers a PC-like experience on a handset-sized device. The Nokia N900 has evolved from Nokia’s previous generation of Internet Tablets and broadens the choice for technology enthusiasts who appreciate the ability to multitask and browse the internet like they would on their desktop computer.
Two new official photos of the Nokia N900 and the Nokia N97 Mini has been leaked. There will probably be a few live pictures of the Nokia N900 and the N97 Mini when the Nokia World starts next week. Stay tuned.. [Thx Benkamin]
The folks at Be Geek got their hands on what seems to be the first official photo of the Nokia N900 Internet Tablet, the successor to the Nokia N810 (The official announcement of the Nokia N900 should be at Nokia World (Sept 2.)

Mobile-Review.com recently got their hands on the next highly anticipated Nokia device – the Nokia RX-51 (aka. The Nokia N900 or “Rover). The RX-51 looks like a highly evoled Nokia N810 tablet that has been modernized with the design of the Nokia N97. The RX-51 also uses the linux based Maemo user interface. In other words, Nokia has ditched Symbian S60 for more modern and interactive Linux interface for the RX-51 project.
