We all watched the Nokia N97 Homescreen video but no one, until now, had the chance to see the behind the screen work put into the making of the video. HTC G3 (Hero) Android for real?

There is not much to say about the rumored HTC G3, aka the Hero. The supposedly new Android phone captured in the wild and it’s waiting Q3 2009 for public release. It’s all sketchy at the moment but Nokia is supposedly in the works of a new E71i. Building on the sexy looks and slim full QWERTY form factor, Finns are trying to squeeze a 5 megapixel CCD sensor at the back and feature pack 2 in the inners of S60. It’s all nice and sweet to better your best and keep on milking the cash cow but what about a better screen and a release date tomorrow?

BlackBerry Curve outsells the iPhone 3G in U.S

Believe it or not but the BlackBerry Curve sold more devices than the iPhone 3G in U.S alone during the first quarter of 2009. If the numbers by NPD Group on Monday are correct, RIM’s BlackBerry Curve tops the list of the best-selling consumer smartphones in the united states for Q1 2009 with iPhone 3G following in the second place. BlackBerry Storm, BlackBerry Pearl and T-Mobile G1 rank third, forth and fifth. Curve found itself on the top due to Verizon’s aggressive sales promo, “buy one, get one free”. Needless to mention that Apple is not really into promoting iPhone 3G rather, the Cupertino brains are doing their best to get rid of the remaining stock no matter what.

Now, don’t expect to find any gold coins at your backyard but keep bugging your iPhone 3G buddies. Demonstration video after the break. Read More »
