Googles Nexus One Official

After many leaks and hands-on’s the Nexus One has just been officially released by Google a few minutes back. Unvieled by Peter Chou, CEO of HTC and head in the creation of the Nexus One’s hardware the superphone(as its called by google) is what the leaks predicted:

- The specs match previous leaks. It’s a 3.7? AMOLED display with a trackball.

- It comes with features such as a light sensor, GPS, and accelerometer. These are all features pioneered by Apple’s iPhone.

- It’s 130 grams in weight and 11.5 mm in width, about the width of a standard #2 pencil.

- The camera is 5MP with LED flash.

- The audio has received an upgrade. It has two microphones, one of which is used for noise cancellation.

- Customization is a key to the Nexus One. There are five home screens to cusotmize your interface.

- Google showed off some of its dynamic touchscreen features of the software.. For example, one of the wallpapers is a lake with leaves. When you touch it, it will ripple. It’s quite nifty, actually.

- They worked with the team at CoolIris to visualize photons on the Nexus One in a 3D environment. If you tap on an album, you’ll be able to quickly scan and load photos. You can also tip and dip photos based on your hand motions and the accelerometer.

Review: Intoro skins

Review: Intoro skins

Intoro Skins makes what their name says, skins. Not any type of skin but custom made meaning you can get any picture you want to get onto your personalized skins.

So I went over to intoroskins.co.uk website and placed my order. Designing is pretty simple since the user only has to upload his/her picture(or simply choose those that are already available on the site) and choose where how they would like to position their picture using a simple flash interface. But the most difficult time was when I went on to place my order, the site seems to have problems in remembering you login and continuously makes re-login after every page, very annoying but this only occurs when you try to order more than 1 design.

Review: iPhone Backup ExtractorFor the past few months, ever since I first bricked my iPhone actually (which has happened a numerous amount of times), I have been on the lookout of an app on how to extract the backups that iTunes make of your iPhone/iPod touch. So I recently tweeted about my problems, and a fellow twitter(er) (and apple expert), Shawin, suggested I use a program called the iPhone Backup Extractor, free to download with limited features and $25 for a full 1 year license which include the all the program features, updates and email support. A little steep in my opinion but everything comes at a price these days…

Sony Ericsson to release new type of headset on the 21st SeptemberYesterday, I had posted that Sony Ericsson is going to “Change The Way We Listen To Music”. Now, via twitter, Eldar Murtazin has leaked that the supposedly ground-breaking new innovation is a headset(Though I was hoping for a Phone)  that automatically starts the music/radio as soon as you wear it. A novel idea though not something that I think will be able to reach mass popularity since am guessing the the headset will not come cheap.

But as any new innovation, we will keep a close eye on this new product and bring as much info on it when its released.

Thanx @eldarmurtazin
