Dec 28 2011 Samsung Reconsiders ICS for Galaxy S and Tab Posted by: MASMedia in Android, Samsung There was a bit of an uproar when Samsung announced that it wouldn’t be porting the latest version of their OS, Ice Cream Sandwich, over to older devices like the Galaxy and Tab. After some commotion and angry letters, they seem to be reconsidering their stance. Now, according to Korean newspaper Ajnews, Samsung has at least promised to take a second look. While this isn’t a confirmation of support, it’s at least a good sign as millions of Galaxy users are adamant that their devices receive the update.
