Windows Phone Tango to be Announced at CES

After the successful launch of Mango, Microsoft is planning the next iteration of their Windows Phone OS.  Although not quite as big an update as Mango was, it is expected to be announced a the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show.

Some of the new features to be included in this version include support for LTE, smaller screens and smaller chassis sizes.  It is expected that Nokia will be announcing two phones that will support Tango at CES, the Nokia 710 and the 900.

The bigger more important release is of course Windows Phone 8 (Apollo) which is slated for a June 2012 release.  This is supposed to be the  next big jump in the Windows OS lineup.
