Nokia Gives a Reason to Break Out The Champagne

Most men like their phones like they like their cars, fast and powerful, and if you’re a Nokia loyalist, they’re currently working to release the Bugatti Veyron of Nokia smartphones. New stats for the popular news app, “Times of India,” have shown two new phones popping up, the Nokia Lumia 900 and the Nokia Champagne.
The Lumia 900, the less impressive of the two phones, will have the same specs as the 800, except for two distinct differences. The 900 will have a 4.3 AMOLED touch screen, as opposed to 3.7 on the 800, and will run on Windows Phone Tango, the next Windows Phone OS. Other than that, it will have the same 1.4 Ghz processor, 8 MP camera, and 16 GB of internal storage as the Lumia 800.
The Veyron I mentioned, the Nokia Champagne, is a different story altogether. While not much is yet known regarding the specs of the phone, we can speculate a shift that would greatly increase the computing power of Nokia’s future smartphones. The “I’m a WP7″ app found a Nokia Champagnerunning Windows Phone OS 7.10.8711, which could be a precursor to the new Tango OS I mentioned above. But here’s the impressive part – after Windows Phone chief Andy Lees confirmed that the new Windows OS would support dual-core processing, Champagne could be the first Windows phone to actually do so! If that doesn’t get you Nokia users some excitement in your pants, I don’t know what will – I meant your pocket….come on now.
