Samung has recently announced the SCH-W999 to be release for the Chinese market. In a bit of a throwback, it is a clamshell phone reminiscent of older generation feature phones. But the similarities end there.
Featuring two 3.5 inch SUperAMOLED screens with a WVGA resolutions each, this new device will ship with Android 2.3 Gingerbread. In what appears to be an homage to Noah’s ark, by bringing in two of everything, it will also feature two SIM support and utilize a dual core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm MSM8660 processor and support dualmode GSM/CDMA EV-DO 3G. Rounding out the feature list are a 5MP camera and Bluetooth 3.0. It’s expected to hit retailers sometime next year.
