Photos believed to show an iPad 3 prototype, first appearing on tech blog jailbreakiphone4u.com have be circulating online and show some differences from the current designs.
The images show the rear of what is claimed to be a prototype iPad 3. The case shows the Apple logo and the word ‘iPad’. The interesting element however is a bulge in the lower-right side which is a probably a new connector port. The prototype however, does not have a rear camera, or shall we say no opening for one. the prototype also missed the space for volume control and mute buttons as well.
Considering the above, these images can either be considered for a very early prototype of iPad 3 or just fake. We’re leaning towards the latter.
