Review: RIM BlackBerry PlayBook TabletPosted by: Phat^Trance in Blackberry, Reviews, Tablets, VideoPhoneArena reviews the RIM BlackBerry PlayBook. The Blackberry PlayBook is RIM’s answer to the Samsung Galaxy Tab. It may not have Android onboard, but it offers impressive specs that will certainly give Samsung’s tablet a run for its money. With a 7 inch display and at just 9.7mm thick, the design of the PlayBook is reminiscent of the Apple iPad. Specs wise however, it’s a whole different story. Internally, the PlayBook packs a 1GHz dual-core processor and 1GB RAM, enabling lightening fast speeds and true multi-tasking. It will also feature a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, a 3 megapixel webcam for video calling, 1080p HD video playback, stereo speakers and WiFi connectivity for browsing the web. Running a custom OS developed by QNX, it will also arrive with Adobe Flash 10.1 support, HTML 5 compatibility and access to the Blackberry App World.
