Introducing Ovi Maps 3D | Daily Mobile

Apr 19 2011 Introducing Ovi Maps 3D Posted by: Jonas in Nokia, Video Nokia has announced today photorealistic 3D models of metropolitan areas for the web version of Ovi Maps. The partnership with C3 as allowed Nokia to implement the 3D modeling of 20 cities and more will be available in a near future. Currently 3D maps are available in San Francisco, New York, Miami, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Toronto, London, Helsinki, Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, Milan, Venice, Florence, Barcelona, Madrid, Prague and Vienna. The streets in downtown can be seen in London, San Francisco, Helsinki, Oslo and Copenhagen. You can check the new Ovi Maps 3D from your Web Browser here (will most likely require installation of new plug-ins into your PC).
