HTC announces the HTC ChaCha and HTC Salsa   Two new Facebook Phones

HTC  today announced two new phones built entirely to be social, combining the simplicity, ease-of-use and depth of HTC SenseTM with the power and connectivity of Facebook. As part of an extended portfolio of six new HTC Sense-based devices being unveiled at Mobile World Congress, HTC ChaCha and HTC Salsa feature a dedicated Facebook button for one-touch access to the key functions of the Facebook service that are integrated throughout the HTC Sense experience.

HTC Flyer

Heres a hands-on demo of the new Android-powered HTC Flyer Tablet at MWC. The HTC Flyer is a compact 7-inch touchscreen Android 2.3.3 tablet with 600×1024 pixels res, which will come with an integrated pressure-sensitive pen experience, courtesy of the new HTC Scribe technology. The feature will be used for note-taking and drawing. The tablet will be constructed out of HTC trademark aluminum unibody. It will be powered by a single-core 1.5GHz processor, and will feature 1GB RAM, coupled with 32GB of built-in storage (microSD slot is available). For photo and video taking the tablet biz will offer a 5MP main shooter, as well as a secondary 1.3MP front-facing cam for video chats. Powering all this goodness will be courtesy of a 4000mAh battery that is said to provide up to 4 hours of constant video playback.

nokia e7 camera

The guys at AAS takes a closer look at the Nokia E7 camera. Head over to this post to read the review.

As with all the Symbian^3 phones, the E7 has the same old clunky S60 5th Edition camera application with, seemingly, almost nothing changed – right down to the use of having to double-tap to action dialog items – something which has been banished from the general Symbian^3 interface. Hopefully this can be addressed in the upcoming wave of device updates?
