Nokia London Loop was held today 3 February 2011 (twitter tag #NokiaLondonLoop). The event was hosted at the Sarm Studios, the home of previous recording artists such as Bob Marley, The Rolling Stones, Queen, Jimmy Cliff, The Clash, The Eagles, Cat Stevens, Nick Drake and Band Aid. Recording artists at Sarm today included Liam from The Prodigy and Eve the song artist. It would have been great to have had some of their vocals on the tracks we created today but they were there to work and we had Aaron Horn (son of the legendary Trevor Horn) to take us through the studio experience. Aaron took to the drums while Tommy Goodall did the vocals. Thank you so much guys for sparing us the time. Thank you also Nokia and WomWorldNokia and everyone at 1000heads for making it a great time.

Loop is an innovative new production application that allows you to  to create your own tunes and mixes from real life sounds that exist around you (you can download Loop free from The Ovi Store). A range of musical instruments and ambient sounds were available for us to create something unique. The winner of the best ‘Loop’ was awarded for the ‘Toilet Loop’ whose recipient received a gold N8. Quite why it is called the Toilet Loop – you will need to listen to it carefully to identify the reasons why.

All the loops will be made available in a few days and I will provide the links when we have them. In the meantime you can immerse your senses in the Studio with us amateur artists at work. (Nokia loop is available for Nokia n8 and the c7).
