Matt takes a look at the new phones from JCB, three ‘Toughphones’. Every now and again, a manufacturer will release a ‘ruggedised’ phone. The process for that seems to be to take an existing idea, and whack loads of rubber round it to make it shock, dust and water-resistant. Nokia did it. Samsung are doing it. But how about a phone that has, shall we say, ‘rugged’ built into the very fabric of its being? To answer that question, please welcome the JCB TOUGH PHONE.
