Nokia’s Vice President Interviewed on the Nokia N8 Quality
Posted by: dani2xll in Nokia, Nokia / Symbian^3

Nokia’s Vice President Niklas Savander today commented on the issues which some users have had with the Nokia N8, namely the unit powers off and does not come back on. Taking a quick hold of the situation before there is any mention of an onset of Nokiag8 following Apple’s recent Antennagate problems, Nokia squashes rumours that the problem exists in all N8′s. Savander states it is only a very few handsets which suffer from the power-off problem when considered in conjunction with the quantity of N8 that have been sold. However, Savander said it is Nokia’s aim to leave every N8 purchaser - a happy N8 owner. Those who have a problem with the N8, it is covered by the warrantee and you should return the handset to your Nokia Care Centre.
As an N8 owner I am pleased to see the promptness with which Nokia have reacted to the complaints.
