Sony Ericsson confirmed today that they will start the roll-out of the Android 2.1 based updates for Xperia X10, X10 mini and X10 mini pro ( coming this Sunday). So far they have received confirmation that the generic kits for the Nordic countries will be the very first ones out on Sunday evening and then there will be more kits coming already during Monday and then the roll-out will continue throughout the month of November.
These updates will give you some features introduced by Android 2.1 and the Xperia X10 will also get HD-video recording in 720p with continuous auto focus.
The changes in user experience after the update is a mix of things added or changed going from Android 1.6 to Android 2.1 and things changed or improved by us directly.

HTC Corp, the world’s No.4 smartphone brand, expects fourth-quarter revenues to hit a record and will ship twice as many phones this year as last as it meets booming demand for the feature-laden gadgets. The company said in a statement on Friday fourth-quarter revenues will reach T$100 billion ($3.3 billion), with shipments to more than double to 9 million units. Shipments for all of 2010 will more than double from last year to some 24.5 million units.
