This is a video demo on how the remote lock feature works on the Windows Phone 7 devices. Pretty nice feature!

The two existing mainstream technologies for smartphone displays are LCD and OLED. Their advanced iterations in those gizmos are IPS-LCD, as found in Apple’s iPhone 4, and Super AMOLED, as present in the Samsung Galaxy S. Therefore the guys at PhoneArena compared the two flagship smartphones display wise, trying to pierce through the marketing fluff. Enjoy the video!

The guys at AndroidCentral benchmark test the new T-Mobile G2. The T-Mobile G2 is rolling out as a Google-experience phone like the G1 did when it became the world’s first Android model. The G2 is running stock Android 2.2 powered by Qualcomm MSM 7230 processor at 800MHz.

Rovio has experience on running it’s games on Symbian and Maemo devices using Nokia Qt SDK. These games include Bounce, a game offering rich 3D graphics controlled by a devices accelerometer and Angry Birds, a casual, puzzle-style game with engaging demolition physics. Nokia are looking forward to developers testing the Nokia Qt SDK and providing feedback to improve the tool. This beta version is not yet intended for final development.

Heres a short demo on how Swype works on the Nokia N8. To install you have to visit store.ovi.mobi/content/58438 on your N8 browser to bypass the ovi store filters. But it seems to work, theres one issue though – it only has swype in landscape mode.
