It has a 3.8-inch display and a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, but the real draw is the slide-out stereo Yamaha speakers. coolbho3000 has pushed the T-Mobile G2′s processor to new heights. Originally relegated to just 806MHz, he managed to push his G2 to over 1.42GHz. That’s an improvement of over 600MHz (faster than the stock speed of the original Droid!). Linpack scores went from ~33 max to ~50 max. Quadrant scores are nearly off the chart, topping out in the high 2300s. With slight modifications and a re-compile, this WILL work on the Desire Z, Desire HD and myTouch HD. This was achieved using a kernel module, since we don’t have permanent root yet. You still need temporary root!

Nokia swung to a EUR529 million net profit in the three months to Sept. 30 from a EUR559 million loss a year earlier, when the result was hit by heavy impairment charges, well ahead of analysts’ expectations for net profit of EUR229 million.

The company raised its full-year operating margin guidance at its dominant devices and services segment to 10%-12% from 10%-11% previously, but said it now expects its volume market share to fall slightly in 2010 from 2009, against a previous forecast for flat volume-market-share development.
