WOMWorld/Nokia in conjunction with 1000heads threw open its doors today and witnessed the onslaught of 70+ attendees for the NokiaMeet, the brainchild of Micky Aldridge nokiaDNA
People had travelled, some from overseas, some from just down the road desperate to gain entrance. Like myself, they came for a variety of reasons. I will be attending Nokia World today as will many others and this day provided a chance to familiarize oneself with fellow like-minded colleagues. Some came to mingle, while others were once again encased in geekdom paradise. Included in the mix were bloggers, Nokia personnel, professional journalists and the WOMWorld team to name a few… and a Giraffe. My twitter feed is littered with those people whose writing is of interest to me and this was an ideal opportunity to put a face and personality to those who were previously known virtually. I would like to say hi to everyone I met and thank you all so much for giving me your time and sorry to those that missed the chance of meeting me
Oh… and by the way, I am not Darla Mack! It is not the first time that I have been mistaken for Darla. Darla, we missed your presence and hope you are keeping well. If any one wants to catch up with all the news via twitter on the NokiaMeet, do a search for #NokiaMeet
