This guide is only for iPhone 3G users with iOS4. Its well known that iOS4 slows down the iPhone 3G a lot and almost makes the phone useless. To remedy the sluggish performance (or at least one cause of it) go to “Settings – General – Home Button – Spotlight Search – deselect every option” and this will stop background indexing on the phone. Several users reported that the fix showed immediate results on the iPhone 3G. Its worth a try!

This is my friend’s idea. He has a Nokia of his own, I just used mines to shoot it and upload it for him. He’s uses youtube alot and constantly see the never ending argument between iPhone4 vs HTC Evo camera/sound quality. Majority of the Iphone users claims the iPhone is the ONLY phone in the world to produce HD-like quality. A lot of HTC Evo owners stand by their 8MP camera and HD-like quality. Though both are great, in terms of picture/video/audio quality, Nokia’s are far superior. Too bad alot of people are not familiar with Nokias. For mobile, they have been best video/audio quality for the past 8 years, and will continue to be. The Nokia N8 is equipped with a 12MP camera, Carl Zeiss optics, Xenon flash (50X better & brighter than LED flash), and BOSE sound technology. This is Nokia’s standard, Nokia quality. The design and looks of most Nokia phone may not be that good but most Symbian guru’s don’t care. They are interested in the technology and effort put into the phone, not the way it looks.

All other N-Series Nokia and some other Nokia model records in non-HD and records just as good, or sometime even better than most 2010 phones. I will put up a sample recording of my 5 years old, Nokia N95, soon.

TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site, has announced a new partnership with mobile giant Nokia which will include an Ovi app for Nokia’s Ovi Store, and integration of the TripAdvisor service into Nokia’s Ovi Maps.

The TripAdvisor for Nokia app allows travellers to search for popular hotels, restaurants and attractions in their vicinity, as well as find the cheapest airfares available. The app is available in 12 different languages, giving travellers around the globe a localised TripAdvisor experience.
