Matt unboxes the new Samsung Wave handset and give a demo of the Bada operating system. The Samsung S8500 Wave is the first smartphone running on the new OS Bada. Samsung has ensured that the flag “first Bada phone” was given to a strong representative. This model can brag with the new Super Amoled capacitive touchscreen of 3,3″ which has a lot of other related features like accelerometer, proximity sensor, TouchWiz UI 3.0, Handwriting recognition and Smart unlock – all protected by a scratch resistant glass. The internal memory depends on the version, can be 2Gb or 8Gb, however you can always expand it with a microSD card. In what concerning the other features, everything is on board: GPS, Digital Compass, Google Maps, Wi-Fi, FM radio with possibility to record etc. and a great digital camera as a crown: 5Mp with autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, face, smile and blink detection.
