Imagine waking up one morning to find a shiny sports car parked outside your house. It’s kitted out with all the latest Nokia gear including CK-200 car kits and Ovi Maps with free navigation, and guess what… you’ve got the keys! Then to really sweeten the deal, you get handed a Nokia N97 mini too. It’s more or less a dream scenario, isn’t it? Well this is exactly what happened to a few lucky friends of WOMWorld/Nokia (womworld.com/nokia). What’s more, they were then issued a week’s worth of Mission Impossible style challenges. Matt unboxes the new Samsung Wave handset and give a demo of the Bada operating system. The Samsung S8500 Wave is the first smartphone running on the new OS Bada. Samsung has ensured that the flag “first Bada phone” was given to a strong representative. This model can brag with the new Super Amoled capacitive touchscreen of 3,3″ which has a lot of other related features like accelerometer, proximity sensor, TouchWiz UI 3.0, Handwriting recognition and Smart unlock – all protected by a scratch resistant glass. The internal memory depends on the version, can be 2Gb or 8Gb, however you can always expand it with a microSD card.
