This is a demo of the FaceTime feature on the iPhone 4. FaceTime on the iPhone 4 works right out of the box — no need to set up a special account or screen name. And using FaceTime is as easy as it gets. Let’s say you want to start a video call with your best friend. Just find her entry in your Contacts and tap the FaceTime button. Or maybe you’re already on a voice call with her and you want to switch to video. Just tap the FaceTime button on the Phone screen. Either way, an invitation pops up on her iPhone 4 screen asking if she wants to join you. When she accepts, the video call begins. It’s all perfectly seamless. And it works in both portrait and landscape modes.

iPhone 4 has two built-in cameras, one on the front above the display and one on the back next to the LED flash. The front camera has been tuned for FaceTime. It has just the right field of view and focal length to focus on your face at arm’s length. So it always presents you in the best possible light.

Reporting on the latest developments from the World Wide Developers Conference in San Francisco. Steve Jobs continues to fill us in on the details of Apple’s newest product the iPhone 4.

The latest – Jobs announced a staggering statistic – Apple intends to sell it’s 100 millionth OS device this month. The OS family includes iPhones, iPod touches, and iPads. The CEO of the company clearly stressing here that there is an expansive market for application developers, the ibook market, and iAd which is Apples platform for hosting and selling adspace. Jobs said that there is 60 million dollars in iAds committed as of today for the 2nd half of 2010, which they are predicting will be 48% of the entire US mobile display ad market.

Jobs also performed a demo to show of the phone’s video calling capability, enabled by the new front facing camera.

The date have been set now for the iPhone 4 launch and its the 24th June (AT&T)! The price for the 16Gb version will be 149$ ( 2 year contract) while the 32Gb costs 199$. Now who’s gonna buy one? (oh me me me me)
