TeliaSonera on Thursday announced it is extending LTE network coverage to the popular holiday city of Visby, located on the Baltic island of Gotland, off Sweden’s east coast. Launching on 30 June, consumers will be able to access mobile broadband services at connection speeds of up to 80 Mbps. Using equipment supplied by Ericsson, TeliaSonera said the network will go live initially in central Visby, then extended further across the city.
