The Nokia N900 gets a new update to version 1.2 with new features such as face-to-face video calling, the latest Ovi Maps and IM social messaging apps. However, Nokia admits that officially MeeGo is a No-Go on the N900. MeeGo will be available on the new Intel/Nokia OS devices. Admittedly, this will not halt the progress of the N900 fan-base with hopes of an update via unofficial channels. The N900′s core operating system allows for many innovations with it already in use for ARM-based MeeGo development.
