Verizon’s Microsoft Kin One not-so-smartphone has just been announced for its May 6 launch, and IntoMobile already gone hands-on with their own Kin One. The Kin One isn’t a smartphone, but it features many of the things we’ve come to expect from a smartphone – a 2.6-inch capacitive touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera, 3G data, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1. Visa Inc. and DeviceFidelity are working to allow Apple iPhone users to make payments by simply waving their iPhone in front of a contactless payment terminal. The new technology, developed by DeviceFidelity and certified by Apple, combines a protective iPhone case with a secure memory card that hosts Visa’s contactless payment application, called Visa payWave. The technology will work for both iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G devices.
