Opera Mobile 10 browser released for Nokia N900Posted by: Phat^Trance in Maemo, Maemo Applications, Nokia, Press releases
The Opera Mobile 10 browser got released today for the Maemo devices such as the Nokia N900.This Maemo version of Opera Mobile 10 was created as a hobby project by a small team of developers in their spare time. In total, about 6 man-weeks were spent on creating the release. It’s worth pointing out that this is not an officially-supported release. As such, it has not undergone our usual quality assurance processes, and at times may not feel as polished or complete as an official release. This also means that there may never be a “final” release of Opera Mobile 10 for Maemo devices, since it’s just that much more fun to add shiny new features rather than fixing boring old bugs.

Hands-on with the Green Nokia N8Posted by: Phat^Trance in Nokia, Nokia / Symbian^3, Video
Here are two hands-on videos with the green Nokia N8. The Nokia N8 does make for one compelling device with its 3.5” capacitive touchscreen, 12-megapixel camera with Xenon flash and 720p video capture at 25 frames per second, HDMI output, and Video on-Demand through the Ovi Store. Aside from its camera centric focus, the Nokia N8 is the first handset to run on the Symbian^3 OS. It has 16GB of internal memory, FM radio, FM transmitter, Wi-Fi, GPS…
Heres a look at the Quake 3 Arena running on the Nexus One. Enjoy the video!
I have created my Nokia OwnVoice and you can grab a copy of it via the Nokia OwnVoice application on the Ovi Store. It is simply titled dani2xll.
Review of the Nokia 6700 Slide – a compact Symbian S60 3rd Edition smartphone slider. The 6700 slide sports a pretty good build quality, as the bigger part of its body is made of aluminum. Additionally, it looks pretty nice and is offered in a number of different colors.
