Garmin announces its new Garmin Asus Garminfone

Garmin announces its new Garmin Asus Garminfone.  Free sat-nav on smartphones have been encroaching into the GPS terroritory.  However’ Garmin’s products is aimed at the more discerning buyer.  The Garminfone is available on the Android platform with a range of applications.  The handset comes with a 3.5″ touchscreen display, 3 megapixel camera and includes HSPA and WiFi.  The Garminfone will be exclusive to T-Mobile in the USA and is expected Q2/10.

Review: Nokia N8

The Nokia N8 gets reviewed by the folks at Mobile-Review. The Nokia N8 features a 3.5” capacitive touchscreen, 12-megapixel camera, 720p video capture at 30 frames per second, HDMI output, and Video on-Demand through the Ovi Store. Aside from its camera centric focus, the N8 will be the first handset to offer Symbian^3. The review is still in Russian but you can use this Google translated link to read the review.
