Mar 07 2010 US: Skype pulled from Ovi Store – Verizon to blame? Posted by: Phat^Trance in Nokia Skype has made a decision in the United States to not promote the Skype for Symbian app through the Ovi Store. They did this so that they could drive more attention to the recently announced Skype and Verizon Wireless agreement (this was a marketing decision). Skype users in the U.S can still download the Symbian app version by going directly to Skype.com.
