MeeGo Repository Coming to Nokia N900

Nokia Employee Valtteri Halla has said that MeeGo’s repository is to open to the Nokia N900 later this month. There is no indication that this will mean that the N900 will be an eventual target device for MeeGo but news of the Repository could be the start of good things to come.

That’s interesting, it would be good to know what this exactly means. Maemo is Debian based and MeeGo uses rpm-packages. So it’s not possible to just upgrade fpaclages rom Maemo to packages in MeeGo using apt-get.
