Nokia Vs. Apple patent put on hold by judge

A federal judge in Delaware has agreed to put a patent fight between Apple Inc. and Finnish phone maker Nokia on hold pending resolution of their competing claims before the International Trade Commission. The judge signed an order Wednesday staying litigation in a lawsuit in which Nokia claims that Apple is infringing on seven Nokia patents in products ranging from the iPhone to computers. The order also covers counterclaims in which Apple alleges that Nokia has infringed on nine Apple patents that are the subject of an ITC complaint by Apple.

  1. Nokia the best !

  2. Only the lawyers win

  3. Nokia sues Apple, Apple sues Nokia back, plus they sue HTC…So if apple looses money against Nokia, atleast they can get some money from HTC…

Okay im just joking….I wonder what will happend.

  4. You know what? I reckon Apple is just too afraid of its competitor HTC since they have a new OS, Android.
Apple is afraid they would lose too many customers in the long term

  5. I hope apple losses both of them.
    I am with nokia.

  6. Well just waiting for apple to try and sue any other internet tablet makers by claiming that they thought of the tablet 1st when they made the Ipod touch XXL.

Cant beleive they claim multi touch was their idea (maybe on phone but not on other touchscreen devices). Microsoft have been using it for quite a while now. Also sure I saw the gestures for increasing a document or pictures size used on the film Minority report.

Think I may patent copyright of being able to navigate a phone by thought control just to be on the safe side.

  7. well…
apple has gone crazy and I’m afraid apple is gonna sue apple trees for that the apple was their idea first…

  8. hmm,
1, Nokia N800 was first internet tablet

2, PALM has first LCD touch screen

  9. i think the judge is gonna move the case to juvenial court and call it finders vs keepers

  10. they all sucks!!!
