Mail for Exchange for Symbian S60v3 FP1 devices released

Mail for Exchange (MfE) uses the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync protocol to enable you to use the email, contacts, calendar entries, and tasks of your Microsoft Exchange Server account on your mobile phone. You must have an account on an Exchange Server (2003 or 2007). Mail for Exchange 3.0 is now available for S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 devices.     Gmail sync which used to work perfectly in the previous versions in not working on version 3. Moreover, only folder support is present and there’s no HTML support.

    Nokia it seems have done some changes to dissuade GMail users on a perfectly working client.

  2. This is an update not something new being released to S60 3rd Ed FP1. This is not clear from this article.

    is there anyone successfully use mfe 3.0 for gmail?
    It shows error message on regular basis on my Nokia E63.
    Something like ‘can’t sync. If problem persist, Contact your system administrator.

    Unfortunately, I don’t know who is the network administrator to be contacted.
    Gmail?
    Nokia?
    Where?
