Ok,now why on Earth would someone replace Nokia’s Symbian s60 OS with something so stupid as the BlackBerry OS?? Just to demonstrate that it is possible? Ok. Good job!
crazy chinese pipos……,
In my opinion, this is just promising. Now, when the Symbian is open source, it just might get the respect it deserves. But, the BlackBerry OS in Nokia phone is a good start, as it means those crazy chinese are likely able to nearly everything, so modded firmwares and better user experiences are just a wait away..
who the hell can be that crazy to put blackberry os on symbian.
i think this is just photoshop or some theme that looks like the blackberry ui.
mac os on symbian —awesome
Mac OS on a Symbian phone phone would be quite nice but, since even the powerful devices like the n900 can run it with maximum of effort and an awful lag in operating, I really doubt someone would try and replace Symbian with Mac OS on a Symbian device. A Linux distro would be more doable in my opinion.
@ David, so are Indian/Japanese/Korean and Russian cyber hackers, your point?
Without really looking into it, I would say it’s fake. Quite easy to just build the interface. It’s not really possible to port something without the source code.
@arsradu
Mac OS could be a hell of a lot faster on the n900 if it really was ported and running for real. Now they just ported an emulator and ran it inside that, not very amazing, and slow as hell. But it wouldnt really be that usable even if ported, it would be better to port iPhone OS.
