Here is a short video of the Nokia N900 dual booting Maemo 5 and Android 1.6. The touchscreen and keyboard still needs work, but its proof of concept.

  3. Note that this is not supported by Nokia.

  4. On a S60 device i don’t belive, because maemo 5 and android are both based on linux kernel and so this is possible because of the hardware compatibility. I’d like to see this with web OS………

  5. And that is when it`s based on linux…
    I`ve heard that it is possible to intall linux on nokia n97 so it would be possible to boot it with linux because it is based on ARM architecture which is supported by linux meaning that linux will be able to recognize hardware… Just phone probably wouldn`t work…
    This gadget stuff will make me leave symbian and get the maemo…
    This is just one proof that maemo is definitely a future…
