Facebook 3.1 app for the iPhone and iPod Touch finally supports Push notifications

Facebook is one of the world’s most powerful communication tools which is capable of keeping family all over the world in contact. Those people with an iPhone know how great the Facebook application is on the iPhone. I was browsing my App Store on my iPhone and noticed the update available. Facebook have just updated it to version 3.1 and this update brings two knew features that would be welcome to a lot of users. Download

Fantastic. Push notifications is exactly what I was missing. I am not a big facebook enthusiastic so its much easier to tell at a glance whether there are new alerts awaiting me.
