This video clip is filmed using Nokia’s new pocket computer the Nokia N900. The optics of the Nokia N900 seem to be first class as usual, but software let’s it down. Note the dropped frames, the poor compression and the very poor attempt at dealing with direct sunlight. Visit nokiacreative.com for more details.

  1. Squirrels! RETREAT!

  2. Well, i watched the video till 3:10 and couldn’t figure out what Phat was trying to say: dropped frames, poor compression and poor attempt at dealing with direct sunlight.

Frankly speaking, i did not find any problem with the video till 3:10 and most of the common public won’t notice any problem too(even if it existed), unless someone is too knowledgeable about camera functions, which i believe would be hardly 1% of the users?

I myself don’t have enough knowledge to find out any issue with the above video.

  3. This is common in Nokia phones, well atlest these days it is.
They simply cant make good software when it comes to smart phones and camera drivers.
Even the 5800 camera has alot more pontential if they did something to the software.
