Seems that Nokia finally managed to successfully create a way for the user so that the firmware upgrade wouldn’t mess up the entire phone memory. I just finished upgrading my N82 and I have the newest firmware version and it kept all my files intact! This is so cool! Good job, Nokia!

I didn’t find any major improvements since now, Andres. I just installed the new firmware and I didn’t have much time to play with it. I guess only bug fixes have been added to the new version. Anyway, the automatic backup feature of the NSU is really cool cause now I don’t have to first make a backup using Nokia PC Suite, upgrade the firmware with NSU and then restore it but just upgrade the firmware and the NSU will do all the rest.

Hmmm,thank you nokia,the only fp1 with theme effects is n81,nokia demonstrated that theme effects can run on a FP1.And on better fp1 models like n82 there isn’t.The problem is that nokia don’t want to do this,not that this is impossible.

I have n95 8gb,most possible there isn’t theme effects on it.

I don’t remember noticing on my earlier firmware v30 on the n82, but it seems like there is a bug in v35. There is a flickering when you scroll down the icons in the camera app :S

nop, there is no “flickering” on my N82′s camera application when scrolling through the icons.

i upgrade n95-3 but dont see a theme effect. What do you mean? like animations? if you want animated theme effects get ownskin there are tons!

All I can say is… Finally, another update!

Sadly I have to say that even after the update there is no theme effects in Themes menu section I mean the wonderful kastor effects that disappeared after the firmware v20

I upgraded my n95 8gb and its lags soooooo much when i try to install anything (including themes). Is there anyway to fix this?????? Pleaze its irritating me a lot.

I can’t find this update for my N95-1. On the website, it says that the latest version is V31.0.017. In the Nokia Software Updater, it says that my phone is already up to date, although it has V31.0.017. My product code is 0548364. Any help?!?

For the N95-1 the recent update is V31.00.17. there are two different types of n95′s the N95-1 and N95-3 (which i have).

There are actually 3 versions, right? But the article states that the update is for the N95-1….

there are 4 versions of the n95: n95-1, n95-2, n95-3 (US version), and n95-4 ( n95 8gb).

I have the n95-3 (US version).

The firmware version 35 update is also for ALL the n95′s. My n95-3 has firmware version 35.
