  1. The sound ins better on Nokia 5800 Xpress Music than on iPhone. I just compared Pico Fart with iFart and i thing Pico Fart has better sound. But you can not send a fart to a friend.

  2. i was hoping these retarded apps were limited to the iPhone app store, and now suddenly the symbian environment has been contaminated. Hopefully Nokia will make a nice and usefull ovi store without all of these things and only full of useful apps (by this i also mean get rid of the crap the crap thats already in there). Dammed iThings and Apple, sinking quality and functionality of smart-phones everywhere!!!

  3. Oh my god!! Another useless app!! It’s amazing how much retarded people are in this world which allow these guys make money with crap like this

  4. This is quite cool app. I’m been waiting for a fart app for Nokia.

  5. Damnit somebody make good apps for S60v5 … pleas..?
the iphone has lots of good stuff but the 5800 and the n97 are better but what apps have they? almost nothing!! and now we got 1 more nothing! a fart app :p
i don’t like that the iphone’s popularity because off the app’s..
but if i compare those to that for s60v5.. i understand why it is so popular :s

i’m now studying for programmer so in a couple of years i’ll start making fucking good app’s!
not some stupid thing that makes farts or burps! god damnit xD

  6. We need more people like you Bart.

  7. It’ always easy to have an opinion about something..

Hence that you in real life, need a “tool” really badly. The problem is that you don’t know where to find it and even if it is even invented yet. How to do you proceed to get what you want?

    A) Goto into a Blockbuster starting to complaining on why they don’t sell something useful and then walk right out the store.

    B) Goto a store, explain your problem and ask if they have something for it, or could perhaps develop it you.

So in a couple of years, Bart you are in the developers seat, having people complaining why don’t you make better graphics, something without bugs, something fun, something useful, something completely different…

Pico Brothers listen to all who contacts us. Today we do a lot of entertainment apps just because people have asked us to.

  8. Stop whing and show your own applications!
    Good comment from Pico Brothers.

  9. lol
    @ pico brothers:
i understand your point. and i apologize for the way i said those things :)
but i hope you understand my point of view..
apps that people would actualy use a lot like.. a program that let’s you play a video of any type. (.avi .mp4 .flv …) so it’s not nesessary to convert it before you upload it to your phone, or an app to view all app that are currently open and you can close them and you can manage all the app’s on the phone..

you probably spent a lot of time Pico Fart cause it looks nice.
    and i respect you
but it’s just not that someone would use this because it is handy :p

thq for the reaction btw ;)

  10. Now we are talking.. Good product idea Bart. It would be like a “VLC player” for Symbian. Have to have a look at that one.

We do make serious stuff too, and there bee some good stuff coming out soon in Ovi Store.

The fart app had been so long on our wish list so we just had to get our hands dirty and publish it :)

  11. Hi Bart and PicoBrothers,
I think there is no need for an app manager. As currently on mostly all symbian phones, long press of Menu keys displays all the running apps and you can click on them to open and exit. I think there is no point in wasting time for an app on this. Instead one can focus on other better areas.

  12. @ hary
yess!! i found that this morning by accident xD
once again an app froze.. normally i shut down my phone and reboot.. but i was falling asleep in the lessons (java programming) and i tried to open it with the long press on the white button… but because is was so tired i pressed to long aand saw that i could close the app this way..
anyway thQ for the info! just 2h to late :D

    @ pico
yep something like VLC for symbian :)
also i got a question.. what’s the “best” programming language for symbian’s?
i did a little research and i found that C++ was good.. but i’d like to hear your opinion to if you don’t mind ^^

  13. erm…hello…
    facinating applications…i must say…
but i’d like to know …if there is any application for n97 mobile…where in i can lock my screen with password…just lyk iphone does……
    waiting for your reply…..thank you…
