iPhone app: Call of Duty – World at War: Zombies Released!

My recent addiction to MW2 being released has caused me to search the app store for any new goodies to put on my iPhone. Whilst searching I came across the an ultimate have for the Call of Duty fan. Activision have taken the highly successful World at War game and shrunk it down for the iPhone and iPod touch. It was released yesterday (16th November 2009) and is now available to download in the App Store! Check out after the break where we list the features.
Here are some of it’s features:
- Features the original Zombie map “Nacht der Untoten” which holds waves and waves of zombies
- Supports 4 players via WiFi internet and 2 players via Bluetooth (now that’s cool, online Zombie hunting!)
- Silky 3D environment brings everything from the original game to the iPhone platform including guns and power ups
- Three different control schemes available, use the tilt or use the virtual analogue sticks (we recommend these)
- A full list of unique achievements
- Become the best Zombie slayer in the world with a global leaderboard
- They have promised new Zombie maps in the future as it supports downloadable content (expect more updates which is always good)
Apart from the fact you can’t play it over a 3G connection, it looks like they have many things sorted. The only issue we have is the price tag at the minute, which we hope to see drop! It currently sits at £5.99 and that makes it one of the most expensive games in the App Store. The game has still been bought and from the reviews we can see that it’s achieving 5 stars already and the buyers love it. I think I will give it a miss for the time being as I hope to see it come down on offer. Check out the gameplay video review above to see whether it will draw you in!

Can you play this app with consoles?? because if you can that would be wicked sick, nice review and i Bloody well hope they lower the huge price and then id buy it
for that last one i mean can you play that and have your friend play it with his playstation or something??
