Motorola Droid GSM (Android 2.0)

Heres one of the first hands-on videos of the new Motorola Droid (Android 2). The Motorola Droid A855 is an Android-powered smartphone for Verizon Wireless. It sports clean lines and a side-sliding design, which allows for a four-row QWERTY keyboard. The display is pretty big -- 3.7 inches, while other features include a 5MP camera, microSDHC slot, GPS and Wi-Fi

    1. It seems to be a little bit laggy…

    2. well its is an Android ;)

    3. But iPhone is iPhone, now also can HTC HD2 holds level ;) … for me

    4. Wow…I’m disappointed it looks pretty laggy, after all that advertising about idon’t…what a waste…

    5. I’m a Iphone Fan because of its flawless and smooth way to work. After all the publicity this is quite a disapointment, but i’m convenced that this is a beta version of the phone. I don’t belive that Motorola its launching such a laggy phone to the market and even compared to other android devises this one its way slower. Android it’s still a working project and a lot of progress to be made. this version 2 of the OS should be the 1st oficial launch sinse the 1, 1.5 and 1.6 had a “beta” look. Never the less, its interesting to keep in touch with all the progressive states of this project and be a part of its development.

    6. base on Engadget, this a GSM version of the Droid.

thus, it still in development and testing process. so if it is laggy, its normal for protoype testing phone.

hopefully when the GSM version officially ready, it will be silky smooth.
