Sweden jumps on the Nokia N900 delay bandwagon for 2010

I’m sorry so bring the bad news to all of you, Swedish readers and Nokia fanboys. Katshing, one of the most popular online shops in Sweden has been sending out emails to everyone that has pre-ordered the Nokia N900. It looks like Maemo 5 beast will not be released in Sweden this year. You can read the full email after the jump.
“Du har förhandsbokat en Nokia N900 hos oss på Katshing. Tyvärr har vi nu fått reda på att N900 inte kommer att komma till den svenska marknaden under 2009. Gissningsvis kommer den i slutet av januari 2010, men det är inget som är bekräftat. Den mobil som ligger allra närmast, och som nu finns i lager, är Nokia N97.

i emailed nokia about a week ago about the release of the n900 here in lebanon and they called back to tell me that it would be available during the first week of january….other than the phone call they also sent me an email saying it would be available in Q4 of 2009

The official production of N900 has not started in Finland yet , as new releases only N97 mini and E72 are produced at the moment, most part of expensive Nokia smartphones is produced/assembled in Finland
