Vonage gets the green light from Apple as an addition to its App Store. Along with Nimbuzz, Skype and several others Vonage will use Wi-Fi to initiate calls. Rules with AT&T prohibits it to allow customers to use the mobiles network. Google Voice remains an outcast although Apple states that no firm decision has yet been made. Beta testing of Vonage is underway and its hope is to bring the full app to the App Store fairly soon.

I finally got my iPower emergency external battery pack for my iPhone 3GS that i ordered from Ebay. Please note that this battery is not made for fully charge your iPhone. Its just helps you to get that extra power until you’ll get your hands on a charger.
Once the battery been charged it took 1 hour and 15min to charge my iPhone 3GS battery from 10% to 57%. The battery itself took 3hours to charge via my iPhone charger (non USB). For the price of 11$ this accessory is definitely worth buying

It’s official, Skype, the extremey popular VOIP calling service has just been sold by eBay to a private equity firm under the name of Silver Lake Partners and VC firms Andreessen Horowitz and Index Ventures (incidentally a previous investor of Skype) and the Canada Pension Plan Investement board. The Silver Lake Partners is said to have paid the bulk of the $2.75 billion.
