BREAKING: Nokia 5800 V31.0.008 firmware released (Unconfirmed)!

Not official but a DailyMobile forum member has just managed to update his Nokia 5800 to v31. No improvements to be noted as such but the touch sensitivity seems to have increased. Currently, there is no changelog available but if it is released, it shall be posted. Note: This firmware is still unconfirmed, it might also be a rumour, but until then, you can continue the discussion over at our forum here

does not matter how many new firmware they release it will only matter if the new firmware brings kinetic scrolling and new homescreen to 5800 till then i dont care

We need kinetic scrolling it is so frustrating , every touch phone should have kietic scrolling , I don’t see why they don’t do it , it shouldn’t be that difficult some of the software i have downloaded for my phone have implemented that already.

doesnt matter to me here in the usa…. We are still on v21. It might as well be a rumor. Maybe around christmas we will get something.

its not fake but it doenst have kinetic scrolling . Just update mine and no kinetic…
I still don’t see any real advantage in kinetic scrolling besides eyecandy but they should definitely update the browser and the e-mail app to usable ones but that’s probably just wishful thinking
It’s not a fake. I just updated this morning and I am in the US with a NAM version. I don’t see any difference except for the fact that it feels a bit snappier.

Whatever nokia brings in the name of updates i won’t trust until i get new kinetic scrolling feature, changed homescreen, Email notifier, Internet radio player etc. etc. I m tired of everyday googling for the update news. Well it’s useless to say they even dont care about their customers when they sell it out.

I have nokia 5800 rm-356 EMEA V31.0.008 but no kinetic scrolling feature
OH ! GOD !! still waiting for Kinetic scrolling ! uh ! c’mn! Just crush your mob’ & buy an iphone ! I swear you’d not have any problems then
