A lot of people want to know why Nokia created the Nokia N97 mini when there’s already the Nokia N97 flagship device. Mark asked this question while he was at Nokia World and a spokesperson replies.
The Nokia N97 mini is a more compact alternative to the N97. As a whole, the device is the same (you still get the tilting mechanism of the display), only a bit smaller. There are some cosmetic changes to the design though, with the most significant one seemingly being the lack of both a D-pad on the keyboard and a sliding camera cover.

That’s not really a reason. It’s just a description of the device explaining the differences between it and the original.
Typical “spokesperson” type answer though.
well i like the nokia n97 mini actually i think the touch screen sensitivity is also improved because like 5800 and n97 they work really nice with the hand with big nails and the person uses n97mini with its dumb which is the point to be noticed and i think this will be the full fledge device having keyboard and facebook and other widgets on the go with some descent price tag but lets see
here in pakistan
5530 cost around 22000PKR
5800 cost around 24000PKR which is just 2000PKR difference and thats why 5530 is big flop here
n97 cost 50000PKR which is double of 5800xm and i think
if n97 mini comes with 100euro leser than n97 than it would be
n97 mini = 38000PKR
which will be 2000PKR higher than Nokia N86
oh btw here in Pakistan Iphone and Nokia is on top minute number of people buy samsung and LG and sony erricson
