Losing more than $4 billion since 2007, Motorola Inc latest bid to raise itself beyond its bestseller, the Razr of five years ago, is to release several Android devices. Christy Wyatt, Motorola’s vice president of software platforms said “we’re doing an entire business based around this platform”. Motorola is one of five companies who hope to introduce Android based unit to tap into the demand for smartphones. Motorola is to release the devices on 10 September.
