June was a huge month for smartphones. Apple released their new iPhone 3GS and Nokia began shipping their N97 to the North America. Both phones are GSM models and therefore compete with each other in the eyes of the consumer. From price to features, the app store to the camera this video highlights the differences between the two devices allowing you to decide which phone is right for you.
Here are some Daily Mobile statistics for June 2009:
6.130.000 views and 2.620.000 unique visitors ( Not bad at all compared to previous month since this month only have 30 days compared to 31 in May. And we also had some huge problems with the server stability (crashing etc due to the huge traffic we have on the blog and the forum). Hopefully the server stability has been fixed now. And don’t forget that its summer, so people don’t surf the web as much as usual because of the nice weather outside )

According to the study conducted by Frost & Sullivan amongst European and Russian consumers, Nokia is the number one choice for mobile navigation over other leading handset manufacturers.
The primary aim of the study was to evaluate the perceptions, understanding, expectations and motivations of European and Russian consumers towards navigation and location-based services. The key objectives of the study were to analyse consumers’ awareness of, and level of satisfaction with different types of navigation systems (e.g. PND, mobile phones), the different features available (e.g. navigation, 3D imagery, voice guidance, touch screen), location-based services (e.g. car and pedestrian navigation, traffic information, social networking) and other telematics features. The study also aimed at evaluating consumers’ perceptions and willingness to pay for different types of navigation systems, their features and location-based services as well as determining consumers’ brand awareness and perception.
