Software bugs hit Nokia N97

Retail staff have been hit with N97 returns as initial software glitches hit the phone. Staff in Carphone Warehouse, 3 and Vodafone said there had been a high level of returns due to software bugs on the phone, including a problem with the backlight not turning on.

A Nokia software update was released on 1 July, which included over 100 improvements and fixes to the N97.
