Windows Mobile 6.5 on the Toshiba TG01. The Toshiba TG01 features a huge 4.1-inch WVGA 800 x 480 pixel resistive touchscreen. While running on Windows Mobile 6.1, it has personalized interface that can also be controlled by shaking. Other features include 3G HSPA support, Wi-Fi, and A-GPS. It will be the first phone running on Qualcomm’s 1GHz Snapdragon chip. The TG01 will have a virtual track pad for web navigation and its Internet Explorer will come with Flash.

Nordic telecommunication operators Tele2 and Telenor Tuesday said they would form a joint venture to establish a fourth generation wireless network in Sweden, a step that will increase data speeds for customers. No financial details were given on the 50-50 joint venture, but a Telenor spokesman told Dow Jones Newswires the move is in line with its previously announced capital expenditure expectations.
