A rumour that had developer widespread about the internet had been confirmed by Samsung. Samsung will be dropping the more catchy name of the “Omnia HD” and replacing it with the more basic name “i8910 HD”.
The launch of the Samsung i8910 HD was soon to come. But it seemed that they had problems with using the original name, but only in some countries. As a result of this, Samsung have allowed local marketing teams in the affected countries to rename the Samsung to the i8910 HD, although the countries affected are not yet known.
